okay the wedding's saturday... this is what you have to do. it's only a few days.. so DO NOT EAT ANYTHING UNHEALTHY! go on a low calorie and low sugar diet for today, tomorrow, and until the wedding. sugar feeds fat, and then it gets bigger... so no sugar! calories really do it too! for breakfast, have special k with low fat milk... for lunch.. a salad with low fat dressing... for dinner.. something light likee another salad.. but maybe with some grilled chicken in it... grilled.. not fried! .. chicken isn't really fatty, and you need some protein so it's fine. NO SWEETS! no ice cream, cake, cookies, anything! try this until the wedding.. and if you get hungry, grab a piece of fruit! or you can just let it pass until your next meal...
also.. EXCERSIZE!! do 50 crunches before breakfast, 50 before lunch, and 50 before dinner... none after b ecause then it could interrupt with your sleep.... also, shape magazine gave a lot of great at home excersizes you can do... i have a subscription to SHAPE, but just pick one up at CVS and look through it... also, there's one technique my trainer says to do that works AMAZINGLY! i'll give you the site for it.. it's really quick too!
BEST OF LUCK!! i'm crossing my figers for you =]
xox- amanda... [i'm a swimsuit model, so i have a trainer that tells me what to eat and what to do if i start to gain a little weight.. it's kind of annoying sometimes because i have to be perfect all the time, but at least it's keeping me in shape!]

Go to a health food store now and buy "Diet Tea" . It is actually a natural laxative, and will help get rid of excess water and clean out your bowels. The human body is capable of carrying around over 10 lbs of waste water and solids at any given time. If we get rid of these, we are naturally slimmer!
But you are going to have to watch that you eat lightly between now and then. Stick to fruit and vegetables with just a little meat--no bread, pasta, or anything else that is empty calories. Drink just water, and just enough to stay healthy. You don't need to promote further bloat.
If you're worried about having to make "pit stops" on the day of the wedding, I suggest you have a sleeve of Imodium tablets on hand. They do work quickly and efficiently at preventing diarrhea.
You can take the Diet Tea today. I wouldn't take any of it beyond noon on Friday. This is meant as a stop-gap measure, and is not to be added to a daily regime. The more you use it, the less effective it will become.

well, take it to a seamstress and have her open up and make some room so you can get into the dress. Once the wedding is over, then your done. Maybe try to lose some weight by eating right and getting some excercise and learn a lesson from this experience that you should never buy a dress for any occassion at least a week before.

Well, you have two options: (1) take chromium picolonate, which is a diuretic and will help you lose some water weight, and drink slim fast for a couple of days. That might help. (2) Be honest and tell her your dress does not fit and wear something that will fit and look nice. Playing the violin requires comfort, I know. I used to play the violin too. Good luck.

You are in a pickel you could have some of the seems let out by the people whom you bought the dress from but that is done 2 weeks before a wedding. Best you can do is wear it hold it in and take a change of clothes for the reception.

This is not a joke. It REALLY WORKS. When I joined the Army, I was overweight and you have to meet a certain body fat % and I was just over the line. My recruiter had me spread Preparation H all over my belly and love handles (I know this sounds made up) Then I wrapped my mid-section in saran wrap to hold the cream in place and tighten my skin. I did this the night before I had the body fat test. When I got the test done, I was way under the allowable level. I had lost an inch on my waist measurement. I realize this will probably be a last resort for you (I hope) but it does really work.

Wear the dress and girdle to the ceremony and change into something more comfortable afterwards. Everyones eyes will be on the bride and groom...even if do you play violin. Other than that...find a pretty lacy shawl to drape over the bumpy bits?

I know you said you bought a girdle, how about one those whole piece body spandex undergarment. I can not thing of the brand name. Go to the lingerie section at a good department store take the dress. The sales clerk should be able to help. My daughter and niece had the same thing happen. They were crying and saying "we look like stuffed sausage in our dresses" This worked for them. They call it "the suck you up underwear"

Get a dress that you can comfortably wear. You will probably be better off wearing something that fits than to wear something for the wedding that rips open or causes you to come out of it.

get a sweat wrap. Those things make you drop inches in like a day...trust me. Black trash bags...duck tape them around you all the way from neck to shoe...then go out in the sun and do some yard work like mow the lawn or take a jog down the street. It works i've done it before.
