I urge you to use extreme caution. It is difficult to know what additives might be in pet food. Furthermore, given that young children seem compelled to put everything in their mouths, it is nearly a given that she will do so if it isn't picked up. Another concern could be if she aspirates it, meaning she sucks it down her windpipe into her lungs rather than swallowing it. The best advice is to pull out the vacuum and do a thorough job of it. I'm sure you planned on that anyway. ;-)
Good luck!

Not likely, unless the food has something on it that shouldn't be there. Bird food (if you're using a pellet) has nothing worse than what cereal has in it. If it's a seed, there's really nothing in the seed that could make your little girl sick if it doesn't make your bird sick.

Probably not, read the package. It should be mostly seeds etc. But bird food tends to get buggy, so watch her but don't panic or anything. Just read the label. Call the doc and ask if you worry.

maximum poultry nutrition is totally secure if via twist of fate a toddler could p.c.. some up and consume. i'm assuming she did not get that lots. the only way it could make her ill, may be if she has an allergy to seed. only watch her for a pair of hours and if she shows any indications of being ill, call your Dr's workplace and communicate along with his nurse.

She will probably not get sick...little one's put a lot of stuff in their mouths...just monitor her...if she starts flapping her wings and tweeting I would call a doctor...lol...just kidding...just watch her like normal...if she starts to throw up or something...see your doctor...hope your parakeet has enough food left...

I wouldn't be concerned if she just ate a little of it. If she ate a larger amount then she may trouble passing it.
Just keep an eye on her and if she has problems going potty then you may want to call a doctor.

Probably not, if it is safe for another animal to eat and approved by the FDA then I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on her.

LOL no it won't hurt her. My boys both grew up around birds from the time they were born and I'm sure they've ate some bird food in that time.
