I Got purhaps a handful of insightful answers to my question but for every good answer there was a slew of those who are set against any idea of a all powerful creator. To those people i would like to say I appreciate your opinion but why? Is it so hard to believe in something you cannot see? Do you put all your good fortunes in the hands of luck because if you do then perhaps you should play the lotto. The next time you are ALMOST hit by a car or something bad ALMOST happens to you i hope you will stop and think that perhaps its not just blind luck but maybe someone is watching out for you in your time of need. Remember all the good things that happen to you but also remember that no one is that lucky. Open your eyes to the bigger truth. God is there and he is waiting for you.

As i expected i have gotten alot of resistance to my above comment. Dont care was one and i believe that about sums up all the other excuses people gave me for not believing in God. It seems that these people do not want to be held responsible for any of thier action good or bad and that truely saddening to me. Care only for your self then do only for yourself and dont worry about anything but yourself thats your choice. I am sure there are many out thier who would say but i am a good person i do nice things for others well its not enough to do on the outside you have to have something inside or your just two faced. Sorry if i am coming off harsh but it seems to me that thier is to much of this me for me behavior now a days. You dont care i wonder why not? have a nice after life...oh wait, there isnt one is there to bad for you all.

> I recently put forth a question about God.....?

and he didn't answer? tsk tsk, gods these days ...

> To those people i would like to say I appreciate your opinion but why? Is it so hard to believe in something you cannot see?

Is it so difficult to live without having someone to forgive you when you messed up?
Is it hard to believe that this life that you have is it? that you have to make the best of it .. Now,...not in some mystical afterlife?

> The next time you are ALMOST hit by a car or something bad ALMOST happens to you i hope you will stop and think that perhaps its not just blind luck

ah .. but I prefer it to be "a near accident" as opposed to "whoa, god nearly killed me .. thank you god for only almost killing me"

> Open your eyes to the bigger truth. God is there and he is waiting for you.

:o) ... I have my eyes wide open, I enjoy every second of this life ... If you are right and I am wrong, how can I be at fault for enjoying his creation to the fullest.
Is it the church you believe in or god? can you leave the church and still call yourself a believer?

There are 2 key aspects stated in this question: Disciple and committed So the answer to this properly worded question is that God knows the heart of the remember and would separate mistakes questioning from what's actual contained in the 'heart'. As to the documents of the Q: there are those accessible who're certainly 'blasphemers' and that contains those who would favor to reason confusion or separation from God in those who walk with God. do not enable that misinform or confuse you! Now, if this is a 'trick' Q, properly then, this is been responded extremely and extremely. i do not seem at internet sites listed in Qs or information.... If someone isn't particular who they 'serve' then it is because they have not chosen to be particular. And all it is about selection the ability of loose will sovereign dominion selection. This Q shows obviously how almost continuously this power is misunderstood at brilliant and abused at worst. thanks for the Q :)

Be careful. To deny God is not necessarily to not believe. There is a great deceiver who personally knows God and yet will deny Him to you. Those who are following the deceiver will do the same. It is not that they do not believe. They believe and they hate.

It is very easy to discern. Simply look for the hatred, as hatred appears, and note that it is directed at 1) God, 2) Christ and 3) Believers of Christ.

And there you will find confirmation...the hatred for God confirms His existence, the hatred for Christ confirms His Deity, and the hatred for Believers confirms the Way.

The ones under the influence of the Deceiver are incapable of acknowledging anything good or true of Christ and His followers.

Go to a Christian church and you find people planning and striving to do good. Listen to an atheist and you find an intense hate for those people at church.

I am a Buddhist for a reason. This pretty much sums it up:
Believe nothing.
No matter where you read it,
Or who said it,
Even if I have said it,
Unless it agrees with your own reason
And your own common sense.
- Buddha -

I respect the fact that Buddha has us examine his religion for flaws and so far I have found none. Christianity, on the other hand requires blind faith and that is something I will never give.

okay......its not hard to believe in things you cannot see.....do you believe in ghosts, big foot or the loch ness monster. Why does God choose to punish those that worship him the most. You hear stories about christians getting stricken with rare cancers and such. How is that watching over someone?

I believe in spirit guides. They are very protective of me. If I think that anything outside of pure happenstance intervened in me being flattened, I'd give them the credit.
