Was Muhammad really a prophet of God, or
was he a tribal warrior?

Was Muhammad really a prophet of God, or
was he a pedo?

The fact that the Koran talks about so many
battles LEAD by Muhammad, and about the
many wives he married, including one wife
who wasn`t even at the age of maturity yet,
shows that Muhamad was not driven by
peace, or real love.
In the end, not even one muslim can answer
the question, "why did Muhammad marry
Aisha?", because you all know its wrong.

What did you learn about Muhammad to cliam WRONG?

Muhammad was a great prophet and made a great teacher for all of his followers.

When people hear that the prophet had many wives they conclude without much thought that the prophet was a sensuous man. However, a quick historical review of his marriages, proves otherwise.

When he was twenty-five years old he married for the first time. His wife, Khadija, was fifteen years older than he. She remained the only wife of the prophet for the next twenty-five years, until she died.

Only after her death, did the prophet marry other women. Now, it is obvious that if the prophet was after physical pleasure he did not have to wait until he was more than fifty years old to start marrying more wives.

He lived in a society in which it was quite acceptable to have many wives. But the prophet remained devoted to his only wife for twenty-five years. When she died she was sixty-five years old.

His later marriages were for various reasons. Some marriages were with the view to help the women whose husbands had been killed while they were defending their faith. Others were with a view to cement relationships with devoted followers like Abu Bakr.

Yet others were to build bridges with various tribes who were otherwise at war with the Muslims. When the prophet became their relative through marriage, their hostilities calmed down, and much bloodshed was averted.

Prophet Muhammad married Aicha to form a close relationship with Abi Bakr's family. The people of Mecca did not object to Aicha becoming married because although she was young, she was mature enough to understand the responsibility of marriage.

Caesar E. Farah writes as follows:
"In the prime of his youth and adult years Muhammad remained thoroughly devoted to Khadija and would have none other for consort. This was an age that looked upon plural marriages with favor and in a society that in pre-Biblical and post-Biblical days considered polygamy an essential feature of social existence. David had six wives and numerous concubines (2 Samuel 5:13; 1 Chronicles 3:1-9, 14:3) and Solomon was said to have had as many as 700 wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11:3). Solomon's son Rehoboam had 18 wives and 60 concubines (2 Chronicles 11:21).

The New Testament contains no specific injunction against plural marriages. It was commonplace for the nobility among the Christians and Jews to contract plural marriages. Luther spoke of it with toleration"
> (Caesar E. Farah, Islam: Beliefs and Observances, 4th edition, Barron's, U.S. 1987, p. 69).

Caesar Farah then concluded that Muhammad's plural marriages were due "partly to political reasons and partly to his concern for the wives of his companions who had fallen in battle defending the nascent Islamic community" (p. 69).

This is a very complex question and I would not want to oversimplify it however I will attempt a brief answer of some important issues. It require a hard look at truth and a generaous amount of respect for those who disagree.

I do NOT believe Mohammed was a prophet mainly because
he told Jews and Christians to check the gospels and Torah to see that it agrees with the Koran and it does not. It was his own test. Ironically Mohammed could not read or write and could not check himself and would not know how different they were probably having the stories secondhand by memory in many people view.

Many would also be concerned that not only does it have disageements in details but some large ones in substance about the character of God and the nature of salvation. Jesus did not died on the cross. It is a sin to call God father. God does not forgive sinners for example.

An some would mention that even Jesus pointed out that the Law required 2 or 3 witnesses on important things and Mohammed remains 1 witness

The New and Old testament stand more reliable and sounder and more collaborative by the dozens of prophets and authors thorugh thousands of years that God inspired them to be written, I trust them

The god I serve would not have let a man such as Muhammad be a prophet. Most all the prophets were without sin and Mohammad was eaten up with it. He was nothing more than a murderer, a pedophile, and an instigator to violence. Most of the problems between the Christians and Muslims is their belief that GOD was not the son of GOD. However, the bible was written well before Mohammad started smoking his hookah pipe and indulging in sexual intercourse with a child to receive his "visions". I am sure if GOD handed him any visions while all that was taking place it would not have been the one he wrote about. Perhaps he wrote what he did to elevate himself above others and establish the idea that to molest young girls is godly. What a horrible example to follow.

First of all, the age of Aisha at marriage is still an unsettled issue:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha%27s_age_at_marriage

Also, Muhammad doesn't fit the DSM-IV Criteria for Pedophilia:

http://www.psychologytoday.com/conditions/pedophilia.html

http://www.medem.com/MedLB/article_detaillb.cfm?article_ID=ZZZUZRUZGLC&sub_cat=355

Moreover, he married to Aisha for many years. If he were a pedophilia, he would take many other young girls as wives.

Regarding the reasons behind the marriage (and other things, including the pedophilia issue), one could read the following:

If one doesn't believe that he is a prophet, it's up to him. But, many others believe that HE IS.

There are people who say bad things about him, but there a lot of many others who says very good things about him and respect him, not only the Muslims:

LUKE 22:38

YES HE FOUGHT BATTLES THAT WERE FORCED ON HIM BY THE UNBELIEVERS WHEN MUSLIM WERE BEING PROSECUTED FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN THEIR RELIGION,THEIR PROPERTY CONSFISCATED, THEIR WIFES AND CHILDREN WERE RAPED AND TORTURED. EVEN AT THAT HE NEVER FOUGHT UNTIL HE ASKED BY GOD TO, THE MUSLIM WERE ONLY FEW BUT VICTORIOUS ON MOST OF THE BATTLES.

THEREWAS NOTHING WRONG ABOUT HIS MARRIAGE TO AISHA BECAUSE IT IS A COMMON PRACTICE AMONG THE ARABS AND THE JEWS AT THAT TIME.

I am not a Muslim, but through my reading of religious Books, I can confirm that Muhammad is the Prophet of God, and no men can understand His actions as well as the actions of other Prophets such as Zoroaster, Krishna, Christ...
Historically, the Quran has made great contribution to the civilization of the world. If you personally read its verses and applied them in your life, you would experience great blessings.
Perhaps, you can claim being wise, but you cannot be wiser than all the saints in Islam. Please observe history objectively.

Muslims don't believe they have to answer to non-believers or tell them the truth. Infidels do not matter. Muhammad is considered perfect so anything he did or said is good. Anything and anybody else that does not conform to his dictates is evil and has to be destroyed. That answer your question?
