My brother and his wife are having twins, and ironically, my wife's sister is having twins. By Easter of 2007, we'll have 4 extra kids.

How well do twins interact with each other and other brothers and sisters? I'd just like to know.

I have fraternal boy/girl twins (spontaneous - not in vitro) and they act just like any other sibling. When they were very young, they always played with each other so it was great. Now that they are teens, they pretty much do not want to have anything to do with each other. Most of their friends do not even realize they are twins for a long time. They also have another sister and brother - all 4 of them act just like any other normal siblings.

It's not usually a problem. Twins are a novelty to their siblings, so they get along fine, and twins usually get along well with one another (until they get a bit older and start to fight as siblings will fight). And just a tip for you: child psychologists recommend avoiding calling them "the twins" because that sets them apart from the rest of the children, and also makes them less aware of their individual identities.

they are just like normal siblings except theres two of them. sometimes they have freaky twin connections when they are being mishevious but other than the only problem is buying them stuff b/c you want them to be theirself but don't know if theyd rather get the same stuff or sdifferent stuff. its also hard in school if one is smarter than another b/c they are always being compared. just let them know that what ever they choose is fine and encourage them if they want to do different things.
PS tell their parents that they should be in different classes in school b/c of what i said before. (i have twin sisters)

I'm a twin and I think we both fit in just fine. I don't know about how other twins fit in.
