According to the research of Dr. Elisabeth Kubler Ross and several others, death is an indescribably wonderful place that feels instantly like "home".

"According to the research of Dr...." Danielle Süß...please tell me how one can research death?

By experiencing it once there is no chance of returning back.

You can taste it only once and it will be the point at which you leave this life on the earth and your soul moves on to another plane which in qur'anic language is called BARZAKH.

The body is in most cases washed, shrouded and buried in earth. well, some bodies are burnt to ash and returned to earth/river/sea.

This state continues till the Day of Judgement when, all bodies will be returned to their respective souls and awarded with eternal life of punishment or reward depending upon their performance in this life.

This is in brief my understnding of what Allah the Almighty has taught us in his own words in the Glorious Qur'an and further explained by Prophet Muhammed Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

At this point I would like to clarify that the soul leaves the body temporarily during sleep and is returned to the body after being held away from it for a short while, but it is not carried to the BARZAKH unless the person is destined to die in his sleep.

Not sure I get your question, but here goes:

99% don't come back....where did you get this statistic? Maybe it is that 99.9999% of people are not AWARE that spirits wander the earth? Maybe 99.9999% are indeed happy where they land? Maybe 99.9999% CANNOT leave their new location? All of these possibilities exist.

Oh, and I am not saying what I believe...only that I think your assumption is not valid.

I think a more accurate explanation is that 100% of people who have died stay permanently dead and no longer exist. Of course, my opinion is only based on reality.
