Is Vanity a sin?
Like for example, I tend to look at the mirror a lot to check my hair. I don't do it to see my looks.
A lot of people tend to be obsessed with looks and style. Is it a sin?

Only bad like anything if you go to extremes and it becomes an unhealthy obsession. It is good to want to look your best, but there are other way more important things in life to worry about.

Depends on why you do it. Pride is a sin. If you do it thinking how gorgeous you are, then yes, it's a sin. If you do it because you want to look your best, perhaps even a little humbly because, like me, you only have so much to work with, then not at all.

Probably. I mean when a person is so engrossed with themselves to the exclusion of those around him/her well, that 's a sin. I think looking one's best is healthy self-respect.

Some of the others may be white washing their sepulchers while ignoring dead men's bones inside and that is the real issue.

I doubt that any loving god would send someone to hell because they care what they look like.
