I have a mirror and table that you put in an entrance hall that I would like to antique. I have a base of bronze, which is very pretty, but it is not 'complete'. Thanks for your help.

Most paint stores have an antiquing glaze called asphaltum. Used lightly it gives that aged, dirt in the cracks look and it is very easy to use. Another nice thing about using glazes is if you don't like what you have done, you can wash it off within ten minutes with no harm done!!!

There are paints that will crack to help give it the antique look. Normally they are spray on.
