There's this guy whom I knew and we wrote to each other online. The thing is, he always thinks he's right and i felt he's pretty preachy about things he does. He likes to write long letters to me, as long as 14K...all about God! I mean i believe in God but that does not mean i need to be reminded about it. What do you think?

I think you should really get rid of this guy, he is nothing but trouble. The thing about religious freaks is that it's all they have in their lives. He talks about God all of the time because he literally has nothing else to talk about. If you did go out with him, guess what he would talk about? God! You would literally be bored out of your mind sitting across from this guy on a date. Also, people who think they are right all the time are very stubborn and immature. He is not man enough to admit when he is wrong which really says a lot about who he is. In conclusion, forget this guy exists and let some other woman be annoyed by him.

I believe in God too. But if I was receiving letters that long to remind me I just wouldn't write back. Or if I did I would simply reply with "Thanks for the info, I already knew that." No more no less.

Here is the way i feel:
I believe in god...i know he exists...hes within my heart.

I dont like someone throwing him up in my face every time i turn around. Once a guy does that...i will be blunt to him. Tell him...he doesnt need to sell god to me...

I,myself, cant date someone who is a holy-roller...preachy.

This doesnt mean...i am agnostic or atheist....!

I think you need to be a little less friendly with him. Not everyone has the same views but it is very impolite and controlling to push your beliefs onto your friends. It is not cool. I am sure it was how he was brought up and he doesn't mean any harm but you should be careful...ESPECIALLY B/C HE IS RANTING.

I hate to say this, but if you are already irritated with him, then I can only imagine what would happen if you saw him on a constant basis. I guess maybe just explain to him that you enjoy his outlook on life, but you dont need to hear it everyday. Just tell him that he is a very knowledgable person but it seems that he is over doing sometimes. If he goes off on you and says that your crazy, you just gotta say SEE YA SUCKER************

Tell him how you feel. It may or may not stop, but people only relate to the way you allow them to. If you don't like it, stop it.

i think he is to concerned with his beliefs if that's all he really talks about then maybe you should move on. that's a big problem with people and their religion. they some times rub your face in it way to much.

Get rid of him if your not happy. You don't need this going on. Your belief is your belief and thats it.

If you don't like it, then don't participate in those kinds of discussions. If that's how he is all the time, then perhaps he's not for you.
