Bank of America keeps calling my house for some one that does not live here. They give me the run around when I ask for their fax number to send a cease and dissist. Does anyone by chance know it allready so I can stop this nonsense.

This is not a letter you need to FAX.

You need to send it certified to BOA at the following address (assuming it is credit card related).

Bank of America
PO Box 1390
Norfolk, VA 23501-1390

You can try 1.800.732.9194 but remember, it never happened, until it is sent certified!

If you are a Bank Of America customer, then call the branch president of your branch and explain the situation to them. Tell them that you are getting calls for someone who doesn't live at your house.
If you are not a customer of theirs, then look up the number to the nearest branch and call. Ask to speak to the branch president and ask him or her what you should do to stop the calls.

I had to have my phone number changed and unlisted a couple of years ago. Since it is unlisted in my name, if you look it up in the reverse white pages, it will give you someone Else's name, and address. I still get calls for the previous owner of the number. I had to call several collection agencies and tell them that they had the wrong number.

More than likely it's not BOA calling...it's probably someone that bought the debt. You need to make sure it is in fact BOA and not a collection agency. Once you know that information, you can proceed accordingly. Good luck...BOA is hard to get any information out of!
