I won money last night on the roullette table. 670 bucks. I was drunk. The last time I won was on my best friends birthday when I won like 5 grand. I was also pissd then.
I can never win while I am sober.. Ever!

cause when your pissed your more careless and coundent give a fcuk,im the same i play poker all the time down the casino and when i have a drink it gets you more relaxed and u play alot more agressive.

I had a similar question on a Psychology exam in college. The reason may be because you are drunk more often than not when you gamble. Your practice is in this relaxed state of mind and this could be why you perform better in the same state of mind.
Many people also claim to be better at billiards when drunk. Same answer.

As a croupier (ex) the majoritry of people who win are pissed. Why? because they come into the casino once the pubs and clubs shut and hey presto. Maybe if you were in at 11am and pissed, but you weren't, were you?
