Emmetropia is the medical term for perfect vision. Emmetropia occurs when the cornea and lens enable all light entering the eye to properly focus on the retina resulting in clear distance and near vision.
It is the ideal state of the eye in which no refractive error is present.
20/20 does not necessarily mean perfect vision. 20/20 vision only indicates the sharpness or clarity of vision at a distance.

20/20 in itself does NOT necessarily indicate perfect vision in both eyes. It is possible for a person to have 20/20 vision in one eye and bad vision or even blindness in the other. 20/20 simply means that you can see as well at 20 feet as others do at 20 feet. 20/100 is pretty bad vision and means that you see as well at 20 feet what others can see 100 feet away.
People often have slightly different vision in each eye. That is why all expensive binoculars have a diopter adjustment that allows fine focusing adjustment usually on the right objective lens.
All that said, if a doctor says that you are 20/20 he means you are 20/20 in both eyes. My point was it is possible to be 20/20 in one eye and 20/*** in the other.

The term for good eyesight is twenty/twenty. However this is only a venacular and needs further explanation. Although someone may be said to have 20/20 vision there are other functions of the eye, optic nerves and associated muscles which could still cause problems with the ability to see in a particular way e.g colors.

well, 20/20 is ideal. but the lower the number the better. I have 20/15. so one of my eyes is better than the other. so i don't know that that is really any better, but i can see pretty darn good! :)

Since emmetropia was already taken, my answer is Lasix corrected emmetropia or 6/6 vision.

You need glasses. Actually I'm typing bollocks because I'm no eye specialist, yeah, you should see one of those, visit an optician.
