No but I have been tempted. That annoying buzzing and they land on you and then fly away. Those and mosquitoes. I have told people about the only thing that would drive me to fire a gun in the house would be a stupid annoying fly that finally sent me over the deep end.

Dragonflies. During dove season when birds aren't flying it gets pretty boring sitting in the Texas heat waiting for something to shoot at.

Hell yes, every dove season about an hour after the morning action starts to wane,..Yellow-jackets, dragonflies, butterflies, wasps, grasshoppers...never seem to hit them though. Fast little critters.

not in the house but occasionally will go try toshoot horseflies with my 16 off stonewalls or something. But i do go mosquito hunting with a blow torch.
