Personally, I like any case that really makes me think. Being a female officer, I am not really into the macho bull-**** of driving fast, hook 'em and book 'em, shoot first and ask questions later mentality. I like sitting down with a case where I have very little information initially. My fun is tracking people down and finding out the details of what happened.

No fav crime but love parts of the job like giving a kid a teddy bear after an accident, hate that there was an accident but kids really enjoy the toys, It is kind of fun when the dog knocks someone down when they are trying to run away and the end up rollin' on the ground beggin' to call the dog off.
Hate it when a drunk driver kills someone (hat ethis because it is sensless an selfish). Or being the first one there at a DV or other violent situation (believe it or not being scared isn't always fun).

We deal with all crime as it happens. Personally I don't have a fave. If I had to pick a least fave it would have to be sudden deaths. Dealing with grieving parents pr loved ones is never easy. But someone has to do it.

I wasn't conscious that police officials frequently did get shorter sentences. i recognize of human beings who've committed offences that ought to oftentimes outcome in fines and community punishment going to detention center so its not continually the case. do not forget that the example you've given is that of a Police community help Officer. As such they're a member of the standard public who does not have a similar 'powers' as a Police Officer. As for them threatening to arrest someone, a PCSO has a similar powers of arrest as you ought to I.E 'absolutely everyone' powers. I on the different hand, as a Police Officer have diverse powers of arrest, both on or off duty, that are given to me alongside with my warrant card and the identify Police Constable so its a thoroughly diverse kettle of fish because it were. Your get mutually is about a member of the standard public who holds position of authorities place of work.

I'm sure that any normal police officer out there does not have a "favorite" call to repsond to. Whether you're dealing with domestic violence, drugs, etc, they're never "good" calls. The only "good" that may come out of it is getting a dumbass off the streets for a while.

Its not a question of a favorite crime. Crime is bad. I liked the challenge of investigating the crime, identifying the perpetrator, and arresting same. The satisfaction of a grateful victim or victim's family was almost as rewarding as the paycheck.
Sounds corny but its true.

A police offer that has a favourite crime? No crime is good. Most police I know do not really enjoy anything, because most the time it is bad, deaths, murders, rapes, theft, drugs, they are all bad.
If I joint the police force, my favourite would be drug busts, like on tv kick the door in tear the place down and interogate!!!

It's just like any other kind of career that offers a wide variety of tasks that can be done. Officers develop varying levels of personal interest for something in their own work. Some like drug enforcement, some like traffic enforcement, others prefer administrative work or training. It runs a very wide spectrum. Even driving habits vary, with usually the younger or less long ranging thinking ones driving too fast, too often, and the older ones not driving fast enough, or responsive enough too often.
Life is not that unsimilar as with other career interests.

Ripping off Cash from Big Dope smugglers. Robbing a million in cash and then not reporting it.
Nothing is a greater joy for a cop.
A lot of cops just pull people over just looking for money to steal especially down south.
There's no finer joy then robbing a dope boy.
