Every issue in your life and the world. A line right down the middle. Try with religion, take every world religion draw a line right down the middle with "bad" on the left "good" on the right. I am catholic so say I drew a line and

pedophile priests, abusive teachers, etc./spirit, community, etc.

or for example me

fear, past pain, judging, jealous, unbelieving/believing, strong, kind

What if you took everything from the right column from every situation and religion and focused on that and let the left column fade away from your life, wouldn't that eventually help your life and over time the world.

What if every religion is a piece to a bigger puzzle, you take the top of everything and blend it with the tops of everyone elses "everything" wouldn't the left column over time disappear for everyone?

I accidentally posted this twice, sorry. Somebody on the other one called me obtuse, I prefer to think of myself as simple.

I understand what you are saying about black and white. That's why I put "bad" and "good" in quotes. The "bad" in me brought out the "good" in me (long story).

I guess I mean if you take a good hard look at yourself by your past writings or posts and see what jumps out at you, you can make a change in yourself. One person at a time.

It would be good to focus on the positives but it really wouldn't work to just forget about the bad things. Someone must actually deal with those pedophile priests. If everyone just lets them fade away, it will just be another problem that will not go away. Also, some things are not necessarily good or bad in themselves. Abusive teachers are bad but what about strict ones? Strict teachers can really prepare kids for life and some of them need the discipline but others need a softer touch. Should that teacher be put on the right or the left? Also, the system would only work at all if everyone did it.

I eliminated both columns where religion is concerned. I do believe in a higher power, but I do not accept the teaching of any organized religion. Faith can bring great peace to people lives, but the belief patterns of religious sects are often subverted by the most extreme among them. Every religion believes they are the one true faith. It is not good enough to say I believe, it is you must believe as I do or you will perish into whatever hell my religion envisions. I am tolerant and support people's right to choose concerning religion, but for me no faith represents my views.

i don't think it would be easy, or a good idea, to draw a line down the middle of things. everything you do is connected in some way or form and it would be hard to seperate them and say what was what and what was good or bad. if you were able to seperate themsuccessfully, then that means you are living a double life. everything in your life is interelated and hard to put on one side of the paper.

Can you please try to make yourself believe that whatever you think bad is there for a good reason? There is no left side.. It is just one big picture. And you, with your problems, thoughts, mistakes, are a very nice colour on this picture.
