Cats are considered fully grown at 2. However, they can start having kittens at 9 months if female and will generally start tomming around at age 1.

Hi,

yes thats true at the age of 1 a kitten will become a cat, however some cats are differnt sizes my cat is slightly smaller than a large cat but dont worry all cats are differnt just as all people are different as long as they are happy and healthy thats all that matters x

I think about 18 months is probably about right. Some breeds grow more slowly though. I have a cat with Norwegian Forest cat genes. He was still growing longer when he was four years old.

I was told by my vet that my kitten (6 month) will be considered an adult at about 1 years old.
