Why would you want to "make him commit". Sure doesn't sound very appealing to me. Why don't you just enjoy his company and have fun? There is no rule I am aware of that says everyone has to be paired up. Especially at our age when the kids are all grown and we are free to do as we please. Go out and have fun, girlfriend! It isn't the end of your life if you aren't tied to someone else.
Good luck

In America, we don't have the option to make someone commit!
Tell him to poo or get off the pot.
Then go find somebody who does think that marriage is as important as you do.
This guy doesn't want to be married. He's made that clear. Why on earth would yuo want to make him do what he so obviously does not want to do?
The compromise is that you get to decide once and for all that you don't need to be married to be with this guy. Or, you tell him that marriage is that important to you, and that if he won't you're moving on. That's it. If he says no to marriage, and you can't accept not being married, then you'll need to move on.
Good luck

You should be happy that he is back in your life again , do not force him to stay with you permanently , you will loose interest and there will be no charm left if always together . One way you both has seen all the up and down of the life . Better continue with the present set up for a ever green full of fun life . Good luck .

You can't make him commit unless he already wants to. It could turn really ugly if you try to force him into something. So you either have to deal with the situation as it is, or move on to somebody else. Sorry.

You can not MAKE someone commit. THey either want to or they do not and clearly...he does not want to commit to you. YOU have to decide if continuing with him as you have is good enough for you...if not...you need to end the relationship once and for all.

Nothing. If he wanted commitment, he would have committed. Plenty of people like that - they are known as users.....and will use you as long as you let them...... or until they find the next gullible person.
