Well the cut is gorgeous and my hair stylist did it, the difference is it looks sorta like Halle Berry's hair and it's the shortest I have ever gone!

Maybe you aren't used to it yet. You still have the picture of you with long hair in your mind and it does feel strange when you look at the mirror. And then, of course long and nice hair is said to look more feminine...
However, short hair can be really feminine with the appropriate care and I bet you look good (as long as your hair stylist doesn't want to make you ugly on purpose...).
What's more, although it's true that generally with long hair you can try many different hairstyles, short hair is more convenient and less troublesome than long haircuts.
I used to have really long hair when I asked a hairdresser to cut it a liiiiiitle (three years ago). Well, she left me with a completely boyish haircut which I knew it didn't suit me! It was not the feeling that when I had long hair I looked better but that when I have short hair I look worse...if you can understand the difference!
Well. I bet you don't have this problem! As long as it looks nice on you you really have nothing to afraid! Everything is in your mind! You'll get used to your new haircut and I'm sure you'll love it...and if you really hate it, remember that it won't stay short for a long time!!!!

Scripture says that a woman's hair is a covering, her crown and glory; a gift given to her by God.

To lay scissors to her hair is a sign that she no longer accepts the authority of God and, if married, no longer recognizes the place of her husband.

Like Samson of old, her hair is the secret of her place and power with God. Once her hair is cut her prayers are no longer heard.

This is just some teaching and you may find it strange; but listen to your heart and realize that you really do loose something, if not everything, when you cut or trim your hair.

To this day infidelity and bobbing of hair are the only reasons that any man can divorce his wife.

Look at the what several others have said and the stats on what men think. A woman's long hair speaks of life.

There is a lot of junk going around about the female side of God and God being female etc. Truth is, woman was a creation entirely separate from the rest of the universe by a God who is both father and groom.

Get in touch with that "little loss of attraction." When you let your hair grow out again; look for the mystery of the gift and the joy that goes with it.

A study in the University of Dallas showed that the most attractive feature men found in women is long hair.

No.2 was a hip to waist ratio of 3:3 eg. 36 inch, 24 inch.

I saw your picture. I have seen uglier haircuts. And uglier women.

You just have a self image of your self with long hair, or you have been told that you are more attractive with long hair! You should see a good hair stylist and ask him/her what hair length is best for your face, type and thickness of your hair and build.

Don't worry about it. Feeling attractive is all about your attitude and how you feel about yourself. If you feel attractive then you will be attractive. That confidence will come shining through and everyone will see it and respond to it. I've been overweight all of my life but I've never lacked for male attention. It's all because of my attitude towards myself. I know my capabilities and I have faith and confidence in myself. I am now 40 yrs. old and have been married for 8 1/2 yrs. and my husband tells me that I'm beautiful. Don't worry so much about the haircut. It sounds like normal withrawals.

I feel the same way...I think it's because it's more feminine and that when you can grow your hair long and it's healthy and thick, you feel that you've accomplished something that not everyone can...it's something to be proud of.

I get that same feeling, that's why I haven't been able to cut my hair. I think it is a Samson complex.
