There is a possible workround here.

Software such as Smartscore "reads" music from an ordinary scanner.
You can then import this into any music editing program to transpose it how you like.

I have used Noteworthy for years - it's a superb little music editor - and costs less than a tenth of some others.
Both programs have demo versions.
Otherwise, Smartscore starts at $99, and Noteworthy is $39.

Hope that helps. Good luck with the flute!

The best option is to learn to transpose without having to write out the notation. Read the notes up a step, including the key signature. It's confusing at first but before long you'll be able to play it without even thinking about it.

Good luck - its pretty rare to find music for instruments in D.

You could always try software that transposes sheet music for you.
Or just learn to read everything a step down.
