Probably wants you for a steady lay or something. Most guys need a girl on the back burner in case they can't get with any one for a while. So I would pass him up entirely. You are worth more than some guy's back up lay.

let me share something. there was this guy who said he cared about me as much as i cared about him, and he kissed me, and then he asked my best friend out an hour later.
what i learned from this sitch, is, if a guy really likes you, you will be enough for him. he wont need any other chicks.
i should know...my current boyfriend is a hottie, and has no chick friends at all (when he totally could.) b/c he loves me n only wants me :D

guys say that for lots of reasons. I say it if i have failed to make any contact with my girl for a period i classify as being long- so i say it when i see her to make no to be upset.
And also to make the girl feelin comfortable and not to be jealous, I may be hangin out with other girls but it is only you i think of
