Martha Stewart is an obvious answer, but she really does make delicious food and her recipes are simple and attainable for even beginning cooks. She has a nice range of dinner options. And while you're at it, you might find a cool new way to decorate a room haha (can you tell i'm a fan of her site)

I've used all of these and prepared recipes from every one of them....I'm kinda a freak when it comes to needing to try new things. You should be able to find some good choices at these websites.

Try the sauce you had in mind, such as roasted gravy from pork, beef or lamb and add peppercorns. [duhh?!] [and/any?!]
The 'pizzatherapy.com' site was what I had in mind before learning your 'details'.
