People in and around Moe's ice cream parlor in Brooklyn used to be served a frappe' and called it a sundae, but I used to see sundaes as he called them, served up in a different dessert glass. I kept quiet about the thing as to not upset the wrong person and change the perfection they were served with. These new yorkers are sensitive about little things like this! Almost every dish had whip cream with a cherry on top. Banana splits were good also.

Caramel Apple!
I first had this at Hardee's (our local one closed YEARS ago). They took their hot apple pie (you know - those things that you see at most fast food places) and cut it in half, placing each half cut side down in a sundae cup. Then, in the center went the soft ice cream. The whole thing was then topped with hot caramel sauce. YUMMMMMMMM!
