You'll probably feel as if you want to pass out after about three days of that. At about the fourth or fifth day you will start to feel like you don't need to eat ever again. By the end of the week you'll truly won't want to eat.
When you start back eating solid food, go slow.
Cutting down your intake of food and exercise is probably a better way.
Good luck.

I am the same height and I can totally relate to your weight issue.
If you don't eat anything your body will think it's starving and when you do eat something it will hoard it as fat.
I've lost some weight and still am in the process of doing it. I am walking 3 miles a day, cut out sugar almost completely, increased the protein (to aid in building muscle so I burn fat better) increase the water and stop drinking soda pop (even diet). No artificial sweetners. I used Stevia to sweeten my teas or lemonade. (note I did not give up carbs completely. I just made healthier choices with the carbs)
You have to figure it took awhile for the weight to pile on, it's gonna take awhile for it to come off and to stay off. I wish there was a magic pill or solution to it but there isn't. If there was, I would have found it by now. :)

While a liquid diet is good for cleansing the system, it really isn't good for your metabolism....nor for you wanting to lose about 60 lbs.
I would talk to your doctor, or a nutrionist, about eating the right foods recommended for your daily value intake. Also starting an exercise routine will help. It also helped me when I wrote a weekly menu...made it easier to keep up with.
I found that when I ate right (which was more food than I usually ate in a day) I lost weight fast and kept it off. And I hadn't even started exercising yet. Good luck with it!

you will lose weight but not that much and be starving your body. If you starve your body you will throw your metabolism off. You only have to shave 3500 calories off your intake a week to lose a pound. If you drink soda just stop that for a week and you will lose weight. The more you weigh the more you will lose because it takes alot of calories to maintain your current weight. If you were to eat 1800 a day you would still lose weight. Eat the foods you like but only small servings. Use a smaller plate to put your food on your eyes will think it is full and not that you are starving yourself.

Absolutely terrible idea. Your body will know what you are doing - starving it, and respond by using as little energy as possible, slowing down your metabolism a lot. If anything, you may lose muscle as well, which will make it even harder to lose weight in the future.
As always, a healthy diet and exercise may sound harder than this crazy plan, but you'll actually get results and be a lot healthier.

Your stomach will shrink and any water you drink will come up after a few days of no eating. You will not be able to eat right after your fast--you will be too busy pucking up any food that you swallow. This will continue for about three days...and then you will gain the pounds back because your body had gone into hibernation mode during your fast and is now storing up as much food as possible in case you do that again.

I wouldn't do it. If I were you I would drink alot of water and decaf. teas. Eat 5 small healthy meals a day and walk at a good pace for at least 30 minutes a day. This should help boost your metabolism and you're not staving yourself~~~Which actually decreases your metabolism.

The main effect will be you will feel hungry, your metabolism will slow down and you will put significant strain on your cardiovascular system. Any weight loss will be in the form of useful muscle tissues and waterloss. This kind of diet is about as healthy and safe as smoking yourself thin.
