Yes, it's from a fairy tale commonly known as the bible.

Where did you find that verse in the Bible? The following verses that happen to use the word verily are as follows:

SALVATION:
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Matthew 26:21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

We must make sure that we quote the scriptures correctly so to answer your question about the quote that you wrote.....it is strange but more than that...it's not in the Holy Bible.

Godspeed!

There are a lot of things like that in the Bible. There's double stories of things like Genesis, Noah and the flood, different wars, King David's census (who made him do it, God or Satan?). If it were 100% God's Word, and he is a Perfect God, I don't think he would be giving us 2 conflicting stories of each instance. I really wouldn't call that perfection.

Umm I think you lost me. I would take it as, God saying for those who worship idols and whatnot. That there is no other then he. Do you have the scripture for this? Just curious, not knowing exactly where it is or whats being said with it.

Definately this cannot come from Jesus(pbuh).......He said "I on my own can do nothing the power is given to me by the Father"

This words are exclusively God's own words
