Well it depends on the kind of woman she is. Since you're thinking of proposing to her (assuming u wanna marry her) you should know the kind of a woman she is. What she likes and dislikes. Sit down and think about it. You'll be sure to come up with a style. (Note: be yourself, try not to follow sumone else's style) Good luck pal.

First be absolutely positive that she would marry you and that you both are right for each other.
I remember a friend of mine scaring her...
They went for a walk/hike along a forest trail, he said "let's sit down here on this stump. You know, we've been dating for awhile and I've been thinking, we need a change. It just can't stay the way that it has been. So...." He gets down on one knee (hoping that she's expecting something different) and says "will you marry me?" and shows her the ring. It's important to have a ring and that it's the one that she wants. He had asked for blessings from her parents also. I don't think engagements should last more than one year. You should be ready to have a wedding WITHIN one year of the engagement or else just wait to get engaged. The way you engage to her should be somewhere that she'll always remember and remember in a good way that she'll feel great about to go visit there later in life. I'd probably even have someone with a camera hidden out of the way to get a picture of both of you when you do get down on one knee.

I think the best way to propose is to bring her in a field and rent a airplane with a banner on it "WILL YOU MARRY ME?". Isn't sweet?
If you can't afford to, just bring her in a beach during sunset and ask her the question. I bet you, it's a yes!

It helps if you take her to a really nice/sentimental place, someplace that you both have been to before and had a great time, or someplace that you both have wanted to go to...or even someplace with a great view. Ambiance is key. If you are over looking a lake or hiking on a mountain...it would be a wonderfully romantic thing and it's something that she is going to remember and replay in her head a million times in her life.
But make sure you get down on one knee, whatever you do, and ask her to marry you...either before, after, or while you are giving her the ring.

The usual romantic type.take her to candle light dinner;-)
Propose to her in a romantic way with red roses,balloons and mainly tell her your feelings truthfully.

as usuall. take her to the best restaurant with candles and a slow music with dark lights.for dinner. sit down and talk to her make the atmospher more romantic. and then u know what to do
