i guess you must be a christian yourself. i do not want to sound "holy" to you, but i guess one very practical way could be to pray to God and ask Him to send you the suitable man. been there, done that? well, maybe can pray for wisdom? a carnal advise from me would be to try loose a little weight or perhaps give yourself a image make-over. you might be 51, but with a little effort, you can still look forty (which is the new thirty now). try to go out more with and join more activities in your church so that there'll be more opportunities for you to "bump" into your MR RIGHT. most importantly, you are precious in His sight.. do not let this sort of thing weaver your faith in Him.

Try joining a church...they usually have functions that you could be a part of. You might be able to find a decent christian man there.

As for the "little overweight" part...who isn't? Just be comfortable and be yourself. You want someone to like you for who you are, right?

Best thing to do is go to places where single men with similar interests as you are likely to be. Like Church, Clubs or groups. And especially groups like Parents without partners. You know those guys are single and want to meet a nice lady like youself. It's like Hide N Seek....there out there but you might not see them until you really start to look. Good luck.

Focus on exercising and eating right. Begin to wear things that are best suited for you. Get some advice on that. You'll feel better about yourself and that special man will find you if you have a caring, friendly personality as well. We all could use some improvement. Get busy!

Go to the church functions at your church and other local (same faith) churches. Go to the Bingo's. Get involved in church activities. Besides being helpful and supportive of your church(es), you are likely to meet the kind of man you're looking for at one of those places while enjoying the activities they have to offer.

Good luck!

Well, first off there's gotta' be something on your profile that isn't eye catching. Try updating and resubmit. You can also start going to church functions or even give christian single gatherings.
