virus C, you mean hepatitis virus? There is no known cure now but some effective treatments out there for control.
Interferon is one drug used in combination with other agents.
Some people are cleared of the active virus while most at this time improve but still have the disease. But the treatment is very hard on the patient and the family. There are many side effects and the medicine is extremely expensive.
