You can't. What you can do is comfort her, be there for her, and listen to her.

Don't force her to talk to you, but tell her you're there to listen. Touch her, but don't worry if she pulls away. Offer to do fun things, but don't get insulted if she doesn't want to do them. Let her be with her family if that's what she needs, but make yourself available. Be watchful; make sure she's eating, sleeping, and watch her and make sure others are making her feel better, and not uncomfortable. Intervene and get her out of there if someone is making it hard on her. Let her cry if she needs it, scream if she wants to, and if she pushes you away, just let her do it, and give her some time.

Make yourself available for anything she needs, and don't try for happy yet- just try to be there for what she needs, and happy will follow. Don't make her feel guilty ever about not being happy- let her know sad is fine until it becomes depression, and she can no longer function like a normal human being. For now, just make sure she's okay.

You can't make her happy when she is feeling sad but you can support and comfort her and allow her time to be sad and shred the tears she feels. This is all part of a healing process.

Well, my advice would be not to try too hard. Just make sure you are there for her, and just do the little things for her. She is obviously distracted right now, and would probably appreciate simple things, like you making her tea, etc.
She may not say it, but she will appreciate you being there, and just being a shoulder for her to cry on.

well just be the loving, caring partner that you have always been. do not make her feel as if things are different, she may feel awkward. when she needs to cry, let her be...just hold her tight, giving her all the love she needs. whatever you do, don't alienate her at this time. she has to come first right now, and see that she is not alone
