He did not keep the rules he imposed upon others. He had more wives than four (Bukhari vol. I, no. 268) and did not write a will (Bukhari vol. IV, nos. 3,4).

He was a sexual predator and pedophile. There is Islamic data showing that Aisha was a girl of nine when Muhammad consummated his marriage to her.

The Hadith reveals that Muhammad had to ask forgiveness for sin more than seventy times a day. (Bukhari vol. I, nos. 711; 78; vol. V, no. 724) Since Muslims believe that prophets must be sinless, this means that Muhammad was not a prophet.

While Muslims claim that Muhammad was illiterate in order to make the Qur'an a miracle, the Hadith records that he could in fact read and write. (Bukhari vol. IV, no. 393)

The Hadith tells us that "Allah made the prophet wealthy through conquests." (Bukhari III: no. 495), Was he in it for the money? Some Muslims are ignorant of this Hadith and claim that Muhammad was poor like Jesus.

First of all are you totally sure that what you read was the Koran?
Second what is that verse? State it.
Third I don’t think that you know Arabic language and probably didn’t read the Koran just a line quoted from the Koran that someone interpreted the way he likes.
Am a Muslim and an Arab I read the Koran and I always need to read beside certain reliable notes on explaining the meanings of the verses and the teachings of the Koran, not because it’s vague but because it’s very deep in meaning.

And for the first part of the question Muhammad never beat any of his wives.
And yes there are obligations on a husband to the way his wife behaves but these obligations are both ways and also work for the wife on the way her husband behaves and none include beating or any other domestic violence activities, unlike other religions Islam from the beginning gave the right/ option of divorce for the man/ woman who can’t tolerate the relation with his/ her spouse any more.

Thanks for the two points.

Mohammad PBUH never ever hit any body, not only wives, but also children, and servants, and never got angry for any personal or earthly matter. Muslim husbands are not allowed to beat their wives, nor to talk harsh to them, and the verse in the holy Quran is part of a stepwise procedure intended to save marriage as the last resort and not intended to hurt or to humiliate but to say that this is it and after that there is only divorce which is not preferred in Islam. The beating should be by using small object like a tooth brush, or a pencil and to avoid sensitive areas like the face. This should be very rare as our example Mohammad PBUH never did it, but Allah who knows best prescribes this as a last resort to save marriage.

Wife-Beating Is Not Allowed in Islam
Never do anything to harm your wife; instead, love her, have sex with her — this is the true guidance.

Islam insists on kindness toward women, including sexual kindness. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, loved women. He never, ever, beat his wives, and he commanded the Muslims in no uncertain terms never to beat their wives. Too many people have misunderstood verse 4:34 of the Qur’ân out of context, taking it to allow wife-beating. They don't take into account the whole setting for the words, isolating them in a way that distorts or falsifies the original meaning. Another thing everybody has to keep in mind is that the original Arabic wording of the Qur’ân is the only authentic source of meaning. If you rely on the translations, you're likely to screw up the meaning.
The meaning of the original Arabic verb "idrib" (< daraba, basically 'to strike'), which most translations have presented as meaning 'beat!' has a great many subtle shades of meaning in Arabic, sometimes even opposite meanings (e.g. 'to mix, mingle'; 'to separate'; 'to oscillate'; 'to fly'; 'to incline towards'; 'to throb'; 'to multiply'; 'to play music'; 'to quote a wise saying'; 'to move, go for a walk, migrate'; 'to settle down and dwell'; etc.), sensitive to the context. When you baldly replace that range of meanings with the single word "beat!" you lose the original intent. You have to understand the Qur’ân in light of the Qur’ân, and also in the light of the Prophet's Sunnah. It could not possibly mean striking to hurt with violence, given the teachings of the Prophet to be kind to women, including a hadith in which he specifically prohibited wife-beating:

"Do NOT beat your noble wife like a slave."

I do't think mohammad (he got 16 wifes as i heard) beat his wife, but he allowed maximum 4 wifes and also more other girls for muslim man.
There is chances to beat any of his wife some time.
As i am from middle east asia , even very old grand fathers are marring 16 years old girls as his last wish. I can't believe that these 80 years old man could beat his so called teenage wifes. Any way this islam is a very strange religion, a religion ONLY for MAN .

Unfortunately there are many Muslims today who do not follow the teachings as given by Muhammad (peace be upon him) and treat women very badly, however that was not at all intended by the Prophet (peace be upon him).

"Noble Verses 4:34-36 "(34). Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

The Arabic word used in Noble Verse 4:34 above is "idribuhunna", which is derived from "daraba" which means "beat". The thing with all of the Arabic words that are derived from the word "daraba" is that they don't necessarily mean "hit". The word "idribuhunna" for instance, could very well mean to "leave" them. It is exactly like telling someone to "beat it" or "drop it" in English.

Narrated Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri: "I went to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them. (Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 11, Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Number 2139)"

Islam is a beautiful religion, designed to bring people close to Allah/God. It is never religion that is evil, it is always the people who misinterpret or just use it for their own selfish desires.

I think U are some vulgar thought type of person.
And the asker!!!........where have U read about it.......I will only say....that U dont have enough knowledge about Islam and Quran. There is nothing at all any where in Quran written that one can beat his wife.
Quran has given so much respect and rights to women that no other religion has given. If U dont believe then U can consult any religion for Ur satisfaction. But to follow the " right people" with " right knowledge".

Muhammad never actually beat his wife, but he came very close when she refused to cook a pork roast for company. He was so angry, he prohibited pork for all Muslims.
