I have Celiac Disease and want to know if I can have corn gluten? Can you please help me?

depends on your level of sensitivity - some celiacs can no longer digest corn, therefore corn gluten may not be good for you. Celiacs have intolerances for wheat, rye, barley and oats, but some may have further problems as well - lactose intolerance is common, and casein may be a problem too. There's lots of info on the Web, there's also a great magazine for folks with multiple allergies/sensitivities, it's called Living Without.

There is no gluten in corn. However, sometime, in processed food, gluten might be added as a binder. But there is no gluten in corn on cob or corn flour or product made only of corn.
