I don't know what "type" it was, but 2 years ago I ended up in the hospital with severe anemia and dehydration, requiring 2 pints of blood and replacement fluids. I had been feeling "funny" for days, my heart would beat very fast going upstairs, to where I had to sit down and wait for it to return to normal. Two days later, my feet and ankles were swollen and I still had that awful funny feeling, got admitted that day to the hospital. Is nothing to fool around with, if it gets that bad.
Also, the feeling of being cold all the time...forgot about that one.

I had both at one time. Iron deficiency and vitamin b12 deficiency. The only thing I remember is always being tired and cold. I could never get warm.

I had anemia before and I was tired all the time. I found that taking iron supplements everyday helped alot and take a vitamin b 12 supplement with the iron if you can find it. A simple blood test at your doctors will let you know for sure if you have both or either.

Yes, I had iron deficiency after I had Glandular Fever, and I was weak and lethargic. I was so tired and lifeless, I started taking iron tablets (fgf) and looked into it on the net and apparently we don't absorb iron very easily, unless we have adequete amounts of Vitamin C, so you might want to get that checked out too, or take vitamin C and alot of it is because we get too much copper or lead I can't remember which one but it slows the absorption down. Apparently we get too much, because of it being sprayed on stuff like broccoli and some taps..

My daughter has a form fo anemia called "Alpha Thalessemia". She doesn't complain now as she is only 9 yrs., but I expect it to really show later. The Dr.s tell me it is a light case and that there is nothing to worry about. I have had her on vitamins from Melaleuca for about two years now with great results. They barely noticed her lab work. Most people show signs of being anemic and are able to overcome the problems that result. Good Luck!

Iron deficiency, from donating to much blood before my body could replenish itself. Anyway I felt really rundown and tired all of the time, and could not stay awake. Had to eat allot of Chicken and Beef Livers to get over it.

have not considered My Sister's Keeper yet, yet I study the e book while it first got here out. It grew to become into attractive using fact each and each character gave you their concepts and thoughts so which you obtain all viewpoints. in spite of the shown fact that it purely left me greater puzzled than ever. This couple constantly meant to have greater babies so I presume all they have finished is make specific the twins are a suited journey for Connor. Their blood from the umbilical twine grew to become into taken interior the desire that it may desire to keep Connor sooner or later. so some distance, that seems comfortable with me. in spite of the shown fact that, it may desire to be that the twins could finally be asked to donate bone marrow. with a bit of luck this would possibly not ensue until eventually they're sufficiently old to make the alternative for themselves and via then they'll probable be greater beneficial than satisfied to consent if it skill saving their brother. yet to intentionally have a toddler only and easily to be a 'back up' for an present toddler is all incorrect. there grew to become right into a case presently the place between the mother and dad have been sterilised and wanted insemination just to offer a toddler who could be a donor for his or her different toddler who grew to become into death. To me, it is incorrect.

tiredness, fatigue, chest pains, loss of breath and sometimes the symptoms dont show.
Anemia is a lower than normal number of red blood cells (erythrocytes) in the blood, usually measured by a decrease in the amount of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the red pigment in red blood cells that transports oxygen.
