So....You are trying to UNTRAIN a Rottweiler? You are either very brave, or not very bright! You dog has learned that he must not poop in the house, and he must not poop in a public place (while out on a leash), and that he should only poop in the yard of his owner's property. And apparently, even though he is smart enough to have learned that, his new owner is too "slow" to realize that is exactly how a dog should behave? After he poops you pick it up!
Maybe I'm missing something, but your question makes it sound like you want to retrain him to poop on someone else's property, or just out on the street somewhere, so that it's someone else's children the poop is a problem for? I do my best not to be (too) rude on here, but grow up!

You can't stop this habit but you can modify it. Make him a special area to use as a toilet and spend at least 2 weeks training him to use it. Get 4 pieces of wood and paint them white, make a square. Put one of his offerings in the square to give him the idea. Keep him on the lead and take him to the spot. Place him in the right spot and wait for him to go. Praise him when he does, then take him for his walk.
See if you have a sewage manhole cover in your garden to dispose of the mess. Lift it with a crowbar and shovel it down there.

I would look at it as fertilizer for the plants, but if that wont work, string up high tensil wire and put a solar powerd electric generator on it to create a little mini electric fence. he will touch it once and never touch it again and he will learn to listen for the clicking sound that the fence emits and wont go near the garden if he thinks it is on. pretty soon you will be able to take down the wire and jsut flip the switch on the box to get the clicking to emit and he will go away from the garden.

My german shepherd refused to go anywhere but his own yard until he was 2.
We went on a day trip with him.Drove 6hrs.away from home with frequent stops for him but he refused. Finally he became so uncomfortable that he tried to go out the window as we drove to keep from going in the car.He went when we stopped.
But it was another year and a half before he finally realized he could go away from home without it making him look guilty when he was done.Altho neither of my shepherds will go while on leash.
They're creatures of habit. It takes a long time to modify those habits.Keep walking him and keep cleaning it up.You can use it in your garden for fertilizer.

Can't see a problem - you'll have to pick it up where ever he goes.
