The directions on the marinate I’m using don’t say so, but I want to be sure.

I would especially chicken. I use to work in a meat room and you would be a bit trusting if you don't think that sometimes meat falls on the floor and still manages to be be purchased. It is always wise to rinse off all meat.

I'm sure that it wouldn't matter. But I always rinse my meats "just in case". If it makes you feel better, then by all means, rinse it! You're going to be throwing away the marinade anyway.

Yes it is necessary to rinse meat before marination beacuse the blood of dead bodys is always there which can not be good for health.

I wouldn't think you would need to since cooking it should take care of any bacteria, but if it makes you feel better, then go ahead and do it. Oh, but remember after it's cooked not to pour any of the left over marinade over it because then you are putting raw juices on it, which defeats the purpose of cooking.

always always rinse meat!

go and watch a documentary about how they pack it and you will see why :)

i always do. so yes clean all your meats before doing anything with it.
