:) Now that we've got that figured out. I would like to know if ' ROMAN' in this passage, refers to ' ROME' or 'ROMANIA'.. ?!


Please don't guess! I tried guessing Italian name, but I am not sure.
Can any proffesional help me ?

definitively referred to rome.
anthony and tony comes from the latin "antonius", and probably from the etruscan/etrurian population present in the territory before the roman conquest and empire. it's also supposed to come from the ancient greek with the meaning of "born before" and it's the 3rd name in italy for its diffusion (in italian is "antonio").
