Its the best ! Its cheap, its sociable, its comforting, its healthy, its soothing. Warms you on a cold day and refreshes you on a hot day. Gives you time out to sit and chill, think through a problem, seek a solution, take time out, over a cup of steaming tea!

Had an accident? - Have a cup of tea! Got a problem, talk it out over a cup of tea! Make some one welcome - make them a cup of tea! Had a bad day? - Have a cup of tea! World war three? - Have a cup of tea! I

Its been the panacea for all ills, especially during the last two world wars, both on the home front and in the bunkers!

Its what put the GREAT in Great Britain!!!

Now I am gonna put the kettle on - tea anyone???

It turns out that tea is even healthier than water and the five portions of fruit and vegetables you're supposed to consume daily for good health.

So the reason why we drink so much is because it is going to help us to live a very, very long time.

I can hear a few anti - Brit correspondents grinding their teeth at that thought. :D Good ...

because it's nice. You can put the world to rights over a nice cup of tea. But it has to be made properly - the pot warmed first, and proper tea leaves, and served in a china cup and saucer. Having said that I usually make it for myself with a tea bag in a mug, but it's SO nice to do it properly.

Cos it is a wonderful refreshing drink and its better than beer and once it was the cheapest drink amongst working classes.

cos we got bored of hot soil water and tea is soooooo refined beverage for one to drink
