i don't get it, every time i see a question about virginity, people say it's always better to wait..WHY?
i lost mine at 15, and there was never a time in my life when i said "golly, i wish i would've waited till i was older".............waited for what? and don't tell me that crap about waiting for that "special person", sex is NOT about love, it's about physical gratification and that's all!
next you're going to say "well what if they get pregnant or get a disease" and to that i say condoms work just as well for a 15 yo as they do a 30 yo.
so, why all the hype about virginity?

I don't know why they would say that...cause fact of the matter man or woman both want someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to the bedroom...and if you aren't a virgin and don't know then you just have no excuse. So some may just wish they waited so they still can cop out why they sucked. It is what it is...

At the age of 15 KIDS aren't really ready for the repercussions that and occur. You say a condom works just as well, and that true. The part you fail to acknowledge is that most teenagers don't always have protected sex. Teens minds don't fully understand the consequences. And no matter your age condoms are not 100% effective.

Mystery Guest, I couldn't agree more! It's funny, people say that a 15 yo isn't prepared to deal with the reality of having a kid, well guess what; I know alot of 25 yo's that wouldn't know what to do with a kid!
Responsibility does NOT always come with age, rather it is something that is (hopefully) taught.

It's mostly Arabs.
The Children of God and the 60s Communes and the Sexual Freedom Movement of the 60s generally, put an end to that fiction. Of course the COG advocated sex for everybody at puberty: http://www.xfamily.org so they were, perhaps, way out of sync with even postmodernists. Or maybe not: http://snurl.com/girl13
Virginity is an obstacle to freedom, rejected by feminists and liberals anyway.
Only in Cairo do they do hymenoplasty.

Condoms are not 100% safe. Sex with a stranger could be physical gratification, but it means a lot more with someone you love.

Because it's priceless,and it's special to
people who value themselves,their bodies,
and other people. Being free of germs and
being clean is a great thing, not to mention
not having all the regrets when things turn
sour or bad.
Each person feels differently about it,but
I respect people who respect themselves
and other people.

Because one of the 10 Commandments is thou shalt not commit adultery. That means having sex out of wedlock is a sin. Most people think it means do not have sex with someone that is married to someone else. Nope! It means having sex without being married period. Read your bible. It is in Exodus.

if you dont think sex means anything
thats why u dont care
there is abit to much of a "high pricetag" about virginity
but there should be a fairly high one especially for the girls

The price tag is always high on things that are desirable and rare.

I think you'll need to wait until you have a child to understand. Right now you ARE a child who does not understand. Good Luck-
Peace.
