Tough situation with this guy being deployed for 2 years, but U do think you should say something. 3 1/2 weeks is way to early to tell whether or not you really want to marry this person. If he was not being deployed in November I highly doubt they would be engaged. Unfortunately, they are rushing into this because he is leaving. Talking to her about this should not be viewed as not being supportive. You are really just looking out for her and want to make sure she doesn't make a rushed decision.

Coming from someone who lives in another country from his girl, it can be worth it, as long as it isnt going to be a long term thing.
Passing notes between yourselves via a friend. Big hint! Nope not worth it. If your close enough for that, your close enough to see each other a bit more regularly.

Why such the distance. Does he live in another area or does he have a family on the low. If you love him and really want to be with him then stick it out. but just the mere fact that you are questioning your relationship and your engagement just might show that you aren't really ready to commit at the time.

Eventually you'll be married and shall live together for the rest of your life. If you still don't know the character of your fiance then try writing long letters to him and he likewise to you, maybe that's the only way to know each other more closely during your present circumstances.

If you strongly and truly love each other. You would stick it out. You can make it work. Just keep your faith. Maybe there is something you can plan out each other more!

Yes if you are comfortable with that arrangement. In other words plan on it not changing and see how that feels. Also consider that it might change dramatically and see how that feels.

If you will be able to spend more time together in the future, then it is worth it.
