Because most of the ladies would rather mix it up in the moshpit of life than watch all alone from high atop that cold pedestal. They climbed down that pedestal decades ago and I for one, prefer to dance with them rather than worship them.

I'm over protective but my girl doesn't seem to mind, i think she even likes that i'm in charge. i guess it depends on the one you're going out with.
