i dont feel comfortable having to shake all my customers hands?

Question

I just dont think its sanitary to be shaking 30-40 peoples hands a day. At my job i work in sales and we are made to shake all of their hands before they go.

Would you?

you'll have to try your best to deal with it because you're in sales. just wash your hands whenever you get a break. there's no other safer way, i think.

otherwise, do what some orientals do--bow down instead of offering a handshake. :)

Yes, I would shake their hands, but I agree that it is not sanitary. What about the people who don't wash their hands after the restroom, after blowing their nose, or after scratching their armpit...? YUCK?

How about keeping a package of baby wipes at work, so you can wipe you hands periodically?
Then wash your hands with water when you have a toilet break or a lunch break.

Don't let your worries and fear get a hold off you . Wash your hands when you go to the restroom before and after eating . And put some clean wipes under your desk and wipe your hands off after the talk too your Costumer . And us the Gel that got the Anti cleaner in them .

Then get another job. Your in sales, it's part of the job. Buy a bottle of hand sanitizer and use it when they leave if you are really worried.

Its not contagious or anything so just do your job and ge the money.
Seriously, i wouldnt like it either...but if i was to do it....i would wash my hands after work...like always
