The domination of the English language globally is undeniable. English is the language of diplomacy and international communications, business, tourism, education, science, computer technology, media and Internet. Because English was used to develop communication, technology, programming, software, etc, it dominates the web. 70% of all information stored electronically is in English. Around 750 million people are believed to speak English as a foreign language. English has an official or a special status in 75 countries with a total population of over 2 billion. According to some experts, faster economic globalization is going hand in hand with the growing use of English. More and more people are being encouraged to use English rather than their own language. On the other hand, the period of most rapid change can be expected to be an uncomfortable and at times traumatic experience for many people around the world. Hence, the opposite view, that the next 20 years or so will be a critical time for the English language and for those who depend upon it.

The best way to learn English (or any language, for tha matter) is to immerse yourself in the culture, be open-minded and pay attention. Be willing to ask someone if a word or concept is eluding you. Most people (MOST I said!) are polite and will be willing to lend a hand.
English is a very difficult language to grasp, especially American English with all its slang and idioms. There are sometimes more exceptions to the rules than the amount of rules that there are; for every rule, it sometimes feels like there are at least two exceptions. But, don't get discouraged. You are on the right track!

Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. The best way to learn english bu just speaking in it. Initially you will find it difficult to think in your mother tongue and then converting the idea to english. This can easily be overcome by just speaking what it comes to you naturally. Once you become confident in expressing what you want, refine the language by learning the language systematiclly with proper grammar and thesarus. All the best!

You can stop trying to fool people. You know English. People who are beginning to learn the language don't understand contractions nor are they able to construct a sentence like you did.

First, learn how to pronounce the vowels a,e,i,o,u. After you do that, learn to pronounce the other alphabets from b-z. When you do that, learn how to form words with alphabets and learn to pronounce them. Some english words are more special in the sense that they are not the pronounced the way they look.
