I had the same dilema 2 yrs ago, I took it to the next level and we were happy for a while as gf & bf, then we split up, now I've lost her as a friend and a lover. The question you need to ask yourself is whether or not you imagine you would be friends if it wasn't for the chemistry? If the answer is 'no' then you should go for it.
