Peanut Puffs Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
3/4 cup salted peanuts, finely chopped
Sifted confectioners sugar

Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Cream shortening with peanut butter and salt until light and fluffy, gradually adding confectioners sugar. Blend in vanilla, then add flour. Stir in peanuts; mix well. Shape into small balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake 12 minutes or until golden brown. Roll immediately in confectioners sugar.

You JUST want to bake the peanut puff itself? You're not looking to make cookies or anything else?
If so, then I'd just put some on a cookie sheet that has been covered with parchment paper. Set the oven on about 300 degrees and keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn.
Why you'd want to do this, I have no idea!

PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream shortening, butter, peanut butter, and salt until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar. Blend in vanilla. Stir in flour and chopped peanuts, blending well.

Makes about 4 dozen peanut puff cookies.
