I was recently told that LDS(mormons) belive in Jesus Like I do(i am a Christian)(that he is a savior, and the ONLY way to Heaven), yet when i do some reasearch I find in Lds Writings facts to the contrary such as: From the Journal of Discourses 7:289 ...no man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the kingdom of god with out consent of Joseph Smith. Why?

Good question, the answer is this. In the history of the earth there are 7 dispensations where the Gospel was renewed. Anyone living in the 1st dispensation is under Adam and cannot enter into heaven with out his consent and so forth up to Joseph Smith, he is the head of the Last dispensation before the second coming of the messiah. Anyone living in these times is under his authority. I hope I helped.

Sister, they contradict the Bible too much.
Did you know they believe in both the serpents first lies ?
"Ye shall not surely die" and "ye shall be as gods".
They believe that what Adam and Eve did by eating the fruit was good and not bad!!! They believe they can be like Gods and even create new planets when they reach this.
Did you know Lucifer wanted to create? He wanted to be God? Why do you think thise world is in such bad condition? Because this world is the outcome of Satans government. No noone can be God but God himself. Noone can create from nothing or govern a system but God himself.
Just one more thing to add, Joseph Smith was also a freemason, so go figure.

Because LDS, like ISLAM, is a fake religion modeled on Judeo-Christianity.
Anyone who beleives in LDS needs to seriously watch the SOUTH PARK episodes that deal with that topic. Except the one where they announce at the gates of hell that the correct answer was LDS (Mormons). That one is just a joke. Sorry all you LDS people.
Seriously, Mormons are often the very best of people at heart. All my Mormon friends were great and wonderful human beings. They're just misguided. But the LDS way is a better way to be misguided than radical islam. When was the last time some LDS person strapped on a bomb and blew up themselves and a bunch of innocents? Ummmm NEVER!!!!

Research more, especially about Joseph Smith. And watch the episode of Southpark that deals with Mormonism, even if you don't like Southpark. It's not only hilarious, but, well, you'd just have to see it. And the funny thing, one of the creators was LDS.
No, I'm not LDS, btw.

To recieve everything that God has to offer us in the hereafter, a person has to accept the fulness of the gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the fulness of the gospel restored to the earth. It was taken away after the apostles and other church leaders were killed. To fully accept Jesus Christ, one has to accept his prophets or "spokesmen" Joseph Smith was his prophet. Through Joseph, the fulness of the gospel was restored. If a person doesn't accept that, he cannot have claim upon all that God has to offer him.

This is not a religion but a Satanic Cult!
Building their own towns, with their own police.
Girls 13, 14, & 15 told who there going to marry.
Having 3, 4, 5 wives.
Women are treated like slaves.
Young girls are molested and raped.
Sounds like the Taliban if you ask me.

We believe that the one can only get to heaven by following His example, and through their works and faith. He is our Savior. We believe that in the Last Days we will be judged according to our works by our Savior and his apostles, among other prophets and disciples. I believe that it is uncertain of who will be on the council specifically, but if I find any information to the contrary I will inform you via comment or edit.

LDS is ridiculous, more of a cult. Joseph Smith was the founder and a regular Joe just like you and me; therefore, you won't bump into him in heaven and you don't need hus permission.

that is disturbing. they also do not believe Christ could fly to Heaven. They say he is only flesh. How do they think he got there? what Bible are they reading? and the vows of marriage say till death and they say marriage goes beyond this life which it does not. They are busy trying to rewrite the Bible. Comeon..
