In sports, in politics, in war, in religion, in court cases, etc. Why do we have the knack of quick embracing thought that God is with us as oppose to our opponents which is also thinking similar line?

We think God is on our side........
Opponents think that God is in their side.......
But the fact is that God is in the right side.
Though God is on our side, we must be on God's side.

God is for one race. The Human Race. No one individual or group owns God. He doesn't choose "sides". He is not competitive and confrontational. He is for all mankind equally. His joy and hope is for peace, joy, happiness and faith for all people everywhere. All nationalities, races, cultures and sexual orientations. He made all people and loves all people equally and evenly. He does not discriminate or punish any one group of people. No religious group can claim him as there's. He's all religions--even the ones we don't like. To follow his teachings you must be and do as he is. That's the hard part of life.

Look at it this way if god whomever you hold that to be is the creator of all of us. Now would a father or mother be more on one siblings side or both regardless of the reason?

When ever there is chilled climate automatically your body will become warm to save you. similarly if it is hot you get sweting and your body will become cool.
Whenever you are in worry or anxity to calm down the anxity / worry your mind starts to think that what ever the possible way, thinking god in our favor too one of the phsycological pheneminon a natuarl human being adopts.

God is on OUR side, sometimes the outcome is not the desired one, but God have a bigger intended plan for every life, win or lose.

not all hehehe I believe god is fair and takes no side. probably because they think that they do the right thing and that got is always the rigght hahaha but the forgot that god loves the bad ones also hehe.

God is just.He is with everyone.He never sides anyone.It is our faith in him that we always feel that God is on our side.
He is with the good,because he is happy with them for their faith in Him and in turn is with them to bless them.
He is with the less fortunate (Bad), because he cares for them and is worried about them for their spiritual well being and wants to bring them back to the kingdom of God.
This is the reason why everyone feels God is on their side.

I am not asking God in a selfish thought as you suggest....I ask God to guide my country and myself and allow me to understand Him better.......but I still know that God is with me and the best possible outcome will happen....whatever that may be.

Interesting question.Often in war especially you see people think God is on their side,which is quite stupid.Why? I don¸t know.One of worlds biggest mysteries..

there are three traits of a man who knows why they are all men think they are closest to god , all man think they are the sexiest and all man think that they are the most intelligent and god knows on each count they are wrong
