Do I remove the dead one from the box?

Has your cat finished giving birth yet ? Has she stopped grooming it. ? She needs to reject it so she knows its dead... ! When she is feeding the rest of the litter and sees that one is not feeding .. lift it.. If shes not happy about it leave it. for now.. remove it later.

I agree with Pluto. The mother has to know it's dead or she'll think it's been stolen from her. Leave it for just a lil while. Remove the live kittens and leave the dead one with the mother. When the mother leaves to go check on her live crying babies remove the dead one.

yes remove it when the mother leaves to eat or something yes she will notice that the kitten is missing but she wont think u did it

u should care for the rest ones and bury the dead kitten cause mom or other cats will try to eat it.....

If you had a twin and it passed would you want your mother to still keep him/her around. Of course you remove the kitty it will start to decompose shortly and you don't want any daises to your new kitty's
