we cannot suffer on the cross like Jesus Christ because we will die. he suffered for us - sinners. Therefore, we have to repay the debt of gratitude to him by believing in him day after day, month after month and year after year.
In that way, we pay our sins on credit - not with money but with faith and repentance.
Now you see that i am serious and I am not joking!

Thats true brother.

1Jo 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Remember when the rich man came to Jesus, Jesus told him to keep the commandments.

You're a sinner, I'm a sinner, we're all sinners, right?

And the only way to be saved from our sins is through a dead guy, right?

That's a pretty sad outlook if you think about it.

How much better would your life be if you embraced the good in yourself and your fellow man, rather than believing that all men are evil?

By your belief system, you are an evil s.o.b., and will continue to be one until the day you die. You can never hope to be as good and pure as your invisible friend, you can only hope that he will show mercy on you for your faith in him.

I say, you are born of goodness and righteousness, and that it is your character that will define you and save you. By simply being a good person you have the redemption you were born with.

I fail to see the appeal in believing you are only capable of doing good in the world if you first must believe that you are evil. Like most Christians, it seems to me that you have your priorities backwards.

Think about it...

Was this a question?

This is Yahoo! Answers. Not, Yahoo! Saviours.

Please keep the religious preaching to those who want to hear it. You're causing all kinds of problems for the Christians who don't "rape the faith" on people (like me).

but as per christians Jesus had died on a cross.... no logic, man

We are still sinners, were and will be. Nobody is saved because "Jesus was crusified" ( actually he WAS NOT)
