Yes it is a tad strange, if by fit you mean she went into convulsions, her eyes rolled up in her skull and it looked as if she was going to choke on her own tongue I would be worried and mention it to the doctor (mention it anyway!) but otherwise she just may be a very very sensitive 7 year old who was genuienly distraught by the pain and panicked, and possibly even slightly attention seeking.

Well it depends on her. She may have a concussion, she may have damage something in her head. Head traumas are very serious. If it is near 11:30 where you are ok... go but if it more than an hour away, Go to emergency NOW
