Congrats on getting married and I see nothing wrong with having a courthouse wedding. You should do what you both want and not worry about what others feel or say. After all, isn't the wedding day about the two of you, your commitment to one another.

I say congratulations to both of you. I am getting married in two weeks on the 16th. We are pretty much doing the same thing just not at the court house. We are getting married in our back yard and the judge is coming here. Then we are having a reception in our yard for 65 people.

It is what we did but then we always said we would have a real one once we got the money to do so. We will be hitting the 4th year and have yet to do it. (Still broke) I know my wife truly wants a real wedding. I think it is up to those who are getting married. If that is what the both of you truly want then it is fine. I think if you are asking this question then it isn't what you truly want. Most women i think want the wedding they dreamed of since a little girl.

one of my husbands soldiers got married at the courthouse and it was really cute. courthouses usually have a seperate room that people dont see unless their gettin married it's not what it seems like going to court for a ticket. CONGRATULATIONS

Hire a wedding officiant to marry you instead beside a lake, garden, or somewhere romantic. You'll be happier about your wedding day.

Good luck!
