Do you use insulin? Maybe you're allergic to something in that. Also, have you tried Benadryl? You can take 25-50 mg every 4-6 hours as needed for itch (check the package for dose, first though.)

Try taking a couple of Benadryl. If that doesn't work within an hour or so, go ahead to the emergency room and have someone look you over.

If could be the insulin (even after having been on it for a long time), and it might not be. I'm allergic to the craziest things. I had to make an ER visit after using liquid band-aid once. And on the side of never-been-allergic-before: I've never been allergic to cats. Then, I held one of my grandmother's cats. Five minutes later, my eyes and throat started swelling shut. The body is a crazy thing. There are thousands of cases of some random allergy developing far into adulthood.

I hope you get rid of the itchies fast! :)

Have you been in a hot tub or a swimming pool lately? Sometimes when the water's just been treated and the chemical level's high it will make you itch like crazy. The Benadryl suggestion's good. Try a bath in the Aveeno anti-itch stuff, too. It comes in packets and it works, at least for a little while. (Long enough for you to fall asleep after taking Benadryl!)

Sounds to me like you've got dry skin. Changes in the weather is all it takes to bring it on most of the time. Try some good lotion and a mosturizing shampoo for your scalp and see if it helps some.

You said it wasn't any product doing it, but maybe its laundry detergent or fabric sheets that are making you itchy? have you switched products lately on ANYTHING at all? Sounds like allergies of some sort.
