My daughter is 4 and a half years old now, but since she was 3 she complained about her legs hurting. more precisely is the back of her knee that hurts.I am worried as i suffer from reumatism myself. I went to the doctor but he said that it had nothing to do with reumatism. I don't want her to have a general check up cause I know that they'll need to take blood from her and she is tiny for her age. Even more she hates agos... Can someone tell me the cause of her paine and tell me what I can do to stop it?

Watch her habits-like sitting on her knees/kneeling, or sitting with her legs stretched out on a coffee table with nothing to support behind the knee. Could be something silly like that, or growing pains. If you dont notice anything that could explain it, I would suggest a trip back to the doctor & back again until they figure it out, especially with your condition. Take Care.

First of all have you identified if the pain is coming from the muscle or the bone? If it is coming from the muscle I would sugguest heat and some children's ibuprofen for pain and to decrease the inflammation. If it is the bone then I would have her leg x-rayed to make sure that she didn't have a tiny hairline fracture at one point that did not heal properly.
You should not be afraid to have blood drawn from your child, it is routine in medicine and it is necessary. Only a small amount is taken and it will not effect the child just because she is small. Sometimes when your a parent you have to give tough love.

Our doctor told me my daughter had growing pains. It can be very painful. If she has trouble sleeping put a bar of soap under the bottom sheet. I'm not kidding. A doctor wrote about it in the paper and several people have written him saying their pain went away and they could sleep. Also find out if she can take children's aspirin or Advil for pain.

try rubbing it with almond oil and pinching the bottom of her ankle with your fingers or combing it with a comb . could it be lactic acid ?does she play so much ?
quoting from wikipedia
During intense exercise, such as sprinting type activities, when the rate of demand for energy is high, lactate is produced faster than the ability of the tissues to remove it and lactate concentration begins to rise. This is a beneficial process since the regeneration of NAD+ ensures that energy production is maintained and exercise can continue. Contrary to popular belief, this increased concentration of lactate does not directly cause acidosis, nor is it responsible for muscle pain or "burning".[1] This is because lactate itself is not capable of releasing a proton, and secondly, the acidic form of lactate (lactic acid) cannot be formed under normal circumstances in human tissues. Analysis of the glycolytic pathway in humans indicates that there are not enough hydrogen ions present in the glycolytic intermediates to produce lactic or any other acid.

She could need more calcium. Give her more milk and cheese. She might also eat flavored Tums, some kids like them.

Pain in not normal in a child and if your doctor isn't interested in solving the problem, you need to find another doctor.
